They remind me of each other because they were both route sires who produce a lot of just ok or bad-moving horses (jury still out on PP). I don't care how physically immature they are or how differently they are built. It still doesn't mean that they are going to move any better as they mature. I would actually like to see a horse that moves differently from their two year old year to their three year old year unless they are lame. Once a bad mover, always a bad mover. I will believe it from working with so many young horses over the years, and from watching so many horses grow and develop.

Showing Up moved the exact same way throughout his entire career that he did in his two year old in training sale video. Past the Point moves the exact same way that he did in his two year old in training sale video. Ron Bob and Dave moves the exact same way that he did in his two year old in training sale video. Rasierra moves the exact same way she did in her two year old in training sale video. Should I keep going because there are hundreds more....

(I stated this earlier) I will say that I have seen a really good Mineshaft, and possibly another one or two that I may have forgotten about from last year. I haven't been through all of the Mineshafts at Fasig Tipton Calder this year, but one of them is fairly nice of the ones that I have been through. The few Mineshafts at Fasig Tipton Calder this year are better than the Pleasantly Perfects that I have seen so far because the PPs are pretty bad. I was too quick to make the comparison, and went through a few more of the Pleasantly Perfects.

No one really talked about Empire Maker, and his babies at the sales were much better overall IMO than the Mineshafts last year. Will have to go through the sales this year to see if my opinion is still the same and if the sires are still producing the same quality horses.
