For what it's worth, before Jan 29 he last raced at Calder on 6/9 and won:

DENNIS'S DREAM stalked the pace, moved to gain a slim lead soon after entering the far turn, contested the pace with MONEY ISSUES to inside the eighth pole and was all out to prevail. MONEY ISSUES rated off the pace, rallied to catch DENNIS'S DREAM on the far turn, tried that rival to inside the eighth pole, then was outgamed to the wire. JAKES R WILD unhurried after breaking slowly, closed to gain the show while no threat to the top ones. DESULTORY tired from good position. SUAVE BARON off slowly, was never a factor. LEONARD set the pace along the inside into the far turn, then faltered. COLLECTIVE tracked the pace, bore out leaving the first turn and again on the far turn, then was not persevered with.

His owner and trainer were listed as Naresh Nagrani & Jose Pinchin, so he must have been sold to Michael Thomas during that time.

(I realize the original post stated he won in June, but thought perhaps he had raced between then and Jan. Did the win take a lot out of him?)
