Even though the fractions were not terribly quick,
still looks like the horse can run for a long time.

And jocks are always being second guessed.
You get put in a position that is not entirely
expected, just bad luck.

I understand the difficulty in making split second
decisions. For all I know the opening I saw would
have been so wrong as to have the
horse finishing well off the pace instead of the
fine display of staying power we got to witness.

I wont even get on a horse anymore.
Still nice to learn what the thought process is
and I understand.
