You go Rags! And congrats to Todd and John on their first TC race!
i told kelly that Rags reminded me of genuine risk, big pretty chestnut with that blazed face. man, a tough gal. she was not going to lose.

Danzig,
Not to hijack this thread, but I really have a "thing" for big chestnut fillies with a big white blaze on their face.
Today I got back from the farm where we're training my 2yo filly, Shot o' Bourbon. She's accepted tack, being ponied, bath, lunge, and next week, rider up.
Oh...I should tell you who she could be a sister to, but you wouldn't believe me.
Gosh, I love those fillies.

JV showed a lot of class in the ABC interview. Gave Gomez credit for telling him not to abuse R2R (cause she always gives 110% anyway). Then JV said part of the victory was Gomez's because of his earlier rides on R2R.

Pretty generous, IMO.

Please note - thus far, it has been one filly wins the Belmont per century, and we have just seen the 21st Century's.

Could be? Are her parents trying not to claim her or something?

I know who her parents are, and they're not the same ones as R2R.
I was talking about "looks".
