With all of the talk about racing 'needing' a Triple Crown winner, regardless of which side you are on, wouldn't it be absolutely great for there to be a gelding to win it? Imagine just how great it would be for the owners to take the horse around the country and let fans all over see a horse that won the TC.
I am very glad that SS won this year, but I highly doubt that he will be back next year. Just doesn't make financial sense. He will go on to win a few more big races this year, probably not the TC, but a few big ones, and then retire to stud... ALostTexan
