Actually, waivers are really useless in cases like this... it's hard to sign away your right to not die
Case law has shown that waivers don't apply when there is an unsafe condition that the person putting on the contest should have known about (and therefor not done)... this is the type of case that will never go before a jury because it will be settled out of court - the case of the Chico State fraternity pledge that died from water intoxication is the huge peice of evidence needed to win this civil case.Very sad... the three kids probably wanted their Mom a lot more than they wanted a Wii ![]()
