Apparently, the gray horse phenomenon is a thing. My wife's granddad used to say the same thing.

I had a friend that I worked with that told me about 30 years ago, that the only way to win was the way Roamin does it. Just go all in on one horse a day, but having the attention span of a gnat, I paid him no mind.
