I don't think so. I read it like @moses did.

hmm...now I'm thinking that there's an "I stand corrected" in my near future.

You were both right. Who does he possibly have that can win the Derby?

Ok good. I wasn’t sure if horses like American Phenom and Best Company were being talked about by insiders. Still, with no identifiable contender for the Derby, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get a lot of money bet on him.

Bet unavailable up here in the Great White North
I would have taken #18 Speightstown who is going to be
good value. Most won't take him because of the distance, but he does
have a couple who are runners. Halo Again is 2 for 2 won at CD then
won a stakes at Woodbine going two turns 1 1/8 good connections too...
so a mythical $100 for me.

I’ve really only got 3 horses I’m interested in betting on.

Green Light Go - If he grows into his frame, he could be a seriously dangerous horse. Early speed, hasn’t taken lasix yet (not sure if any plans to start him on it), and nice pedigree especially on the dam side. Looking for 50-1 or higher.

Independence Hall - If Tiz the Law wins the Kentucky Jockey Club then maybe we’ll see a bunch of money on him and it’ll create some value for Independence Hall. Looking for 18-1 or higher.

Structor - This is more of a wildcard but if I can get 40-1 or higher on him, I’ll place a wager. I don’t think that happens so I probably won’t make the wager.

Green Light Go is interesting. There is also an argument that the rail wasn't a great place to be on Champagne day, so that effort may be much better than it appears.

Seeing Green Light Go at 75-1 at William Hill. Much shorter than that overseas, strangely. Will get some of that when I'm in Vegas next.
