Horse's that get by the vet DO NOT FLOUNDER. As a matter of fact these claimers will probably be within 2 - 3 seconds of stake horse going the same distance the same day. Take the colors off and I guarantee you not one of these morons that is now moaning would know if he was watching a stake horse or a $5000, 6 year old claimer.

I respectfully disagree...state vets are overworked and have openly said that they do not always take the time to go over each horse as well as they could on race day due to time constraints and volume of work.
