Anyone like Arm Force? He should appreciate going longer. Big field with a lot of the big name trainers, you likely will get all of that 20-1.

Took my first look at the pp's for the La Derby today and Rousing Sermon caught my eye.
Third off the layoff and just got back to his juvy top number. He is shipping and running back on 3wks rest though. No local works. One thing is sure: Tom Amoss' colt Shared Property will be overbet. The locals are just dying for him to win this race one day, and his Derby prospects always get over-hyped and overbet at FG. Hey, it's my first post! Nice to be aboard. |

Supposedly Arm Force is going to withdraw/scratch.
NO Handicap is my favorite race of the day. |

Does the less than stellar performance by El Padrino today make Mark Valeski more of a question mark? Or, was the Florida Derby simply that strong?

FWIW - John Velazquez was rather bullish on Windsurfer going forward. He said he was totally immature the entire race and even said he wished they had a few more races in him and could try the Derby. Obviously he's not going, but he really emphasized how he thought Windsurfer would be a nice horse later on this year.
