I really loved the ride Conveyance got.

The guy wasn't going to dick around and rate him like Pino did when he rode Hard Spun to a 4th place finish behind Teuflesberg while breaking from post #9 and rating in the Southwest.

The jock sent him away and rode him like he was in a friggen quarter horse race. I was convinced he was much better than those and that he'd improve on dirt .. so I was happy with the aggressive ride - but damn, that Lukas horse I thought was toast almost nailed him.

The Baffert/Garcia combo has been red hot at Santa Anita -- hitting at almost a 25% clip. He seems to fit his horses well and has won a few on non-Baffert horses.

Was just looking at the chart and got the feeling his effort was lost in translation. He chased and chased wide the entire race. After establishing his position, he may not have gained anything on the winner, but he didn't lose anything either. A sneaky OK effort.
