Personal Bid died of a heart attack in foal to Broken Vow in mid November.

In the early 1990s, Richard Schosberg trained Personal Bid, a New York-bred filly with whom he won several stakes and $165,298.

Ironically, Sunday, December 2, Light Tactic trained by Richard Schosberg pulled away to a 3½-length victory over Brown Eyed Belle on Sunday in the $78,000 Personal Bid Stakes for New York bred 3-year-old fillies at Aqueduct.

There were 176 recorded works on the main track at Hollywood Park on Sunday morning. The morning workouts were marred by the death of Coastal Eddy, the winner of a maiden claimer at the Oak Tree at Santa Anita meeting in October. Trained by Eoin Harty, Coastal Eddy was euthanized after suffering a knee injury following a five-furlong workout.
