Humble Janet a fast closing second in the American Oaks 100k G3.
Humble Janet was bumped at the start, unhurried early, then had a late rally five wide. Second to Marietta by 1 3/4 lengths. Am I reading this right? A new track record for a mile and an eighth on the Arlington poly 1:49:39. I know it's new, but I would have thought something has gone a little faster. Or have they not carded that many 9f races there?
