Default The Sumwon racing tree

Tri Delt Girl won like a good thing at Ellis Park in a Alwn1x. Final time for the mile was 1:38.55 but she was boxed on the inside and had to wait for an opening around the turn.

She ran against Humble Janet on June 17th in what looks like a major key race now.

Keep your head up, DT fans. She's going to be in the winners circle soon.

At Arlington yesterday, another Came Home daughter, the two-year-old filly Passion, owned by Smith, Tabor and Magnier (out of Rajmata by Known Fact), won her maiden special weight (Race 3) by 7 1/2, as she pleased (and while racing on the front end), with Rene Douglas sitting still as a statue and posing for the photo the last 16th. Time: 58.09 (Arlington poly record 57.88)

VERY impressive!

Passion sold at the Keeneland April 2 year old sale for i believe $260,000 and worked out 1/8 in 9 and 4/5 seconds. I can not believe she paid $10.40 coming from the Pletcher barn. Boy did she look good and was under wraps the last 1/16th of a mile. Definitely watch out in stakes races...

According to New York Racing Association stakes coordinator Andrew Byrnes, other expected Coaching Club American Oaks (Gr. I) starters include Humble Janet, a $30,000 claim by Steve Asmussen who comes off a runner-up finish in the Grade 3 Iowa Oaks..

I have been out of touch for a day or 2 and just read about Humble Janet, my jaw hit the floor and is still hanging open.....the possibilities are seemingly endless with our lovely girl.
