![]() I'm so disgusted.....
Sat. Louisiana Downs Race 8 Nailed the Cat Thief baby at 30-1. Got over a Grand for the win. But the disgusting part is what is underneath. But the exacta and tri payoff is the kicker. $2 Ex 80.60 $2 tri 666.00 $2 Super 997.80 (No bet from me here) This a Crock with a 30-1 on top! 1) 30.60 2) 3.30 3) 1.60* 4) 2.60 Just like the day before Belmont when Kiaran won a race at 6-1, and 2nd place at 7-1, the exacta payed $38.00. Give me a break

![]() Seven horses, ex pool of $54k. $63 to win $2 exacta payoff of $80 is just awful. Should have paid $180+. Guess the horse was live!

![]() Only got $200 ($5 Ex) out of the $54,000 pool. Just makes me more sick. And S2S - I was figuring about $180 on it myself

![]() Thats the nice thing about being at the track and betting. The exacta pools are constantly updated. Unless a ton of late money comes in, you know what you are going to get. Thats what you have to love about win bets. You know what the payoff is so risk v. reward can actually be approached. When you get into tri, super, pik pools... well thats a guessing game.
Add to this that the state of Louisiana is a crooked as it gets, and you really dont know what you are going to get. But congrats on hitting the longshot winner. Good deal. |
