I'd take a 10.00 flyer on Green Vegas at 75-1. And for the hell of it, I'd put 5 beans on I'm a Numbers Guy at 200-1.

Why not?

Same thing goes for 75-1 shot The Green Monkey. I'm amazed at what odds he got. Who even knows where this "joker" is?

hard spun had some coughing, but scoped clean. jones thought bad weather was on the way, and planned to work him monday, rather than sunday as he originally planned.
but, bad weather stayed away, hard spun worked sunday as scheduled. either goes back to fairgrounds, or will stay in hot springs and run in the southwest a week later....

gee, i don't know--he might want to go to LA, and avoid pegasus wind

I believe these odds below are for discussion only.
LetitRide.com doesn't take futures bets (as far as I know).
They do have a horse stable contest for the derby (similar to Road to the Roses, but not as in depth) and I believe that's what these odds reflect.

I've seen odds from Casinos like The Palms and Wynn, and these odds aren't consistent with what's actually being offered.

The future odds posted on letitiride.com "correlate with the Las Vegas Hilton Future Book Challenges" according to their web site. So, I'm guessing you can get those odds if you bet through the Hilton Casino.

Hard to believe Pegasus Wind ran poorly after only 3 5f workouts. Lukas did the same thing with Folklore last year. She lost her comeback race, got hurt, and never ran again. I look for this horse to be screwed up in much the same manner.

No odds on those 2 crazy kids called Tiago n' Spankey Come Home? Those 2 both showed more desire than 99% of other horses.I know Tiago is just gunna get better each race.

I just want to be able to book those odds....all of 'em.

I'm trying to decide which is more appealing, 40-1 on Lawrence the Roman, or 50-1 on Teuflesburg.

Then again, 75-1 on Pegasus Wind is pretty hilarious as well. And, I'm sure there are quite a few posters here running to get 75-1 on Pink Viper.

I'm highly suspicious that Abe made these odds.

Even better....7-1 on Nobiz.

Yeah, I want a little 7-1 on a horse three months before a race where if EVERYTHING goes perfectly, and he runs impressively in both all his preps, he might be as low as 5-2 the day of the race.

Now THERE'S value.

You are correct that letitride doesn't take wagers but it stated on the site that these odds were from the Las Vegas Hilton future book as Zippy stated above. I have noticed the odds at Wynn Las Vegas being a bit different than at the Hilton.

Of more interest to me is the Kentucky Derby Future Wager. Pool 1 will be open for betting Feb 8-11.

http://tcm.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=36652

The Future Wager is a parimutual pool with 23 individual horses plus a Field" entry ("All other 3-yr-olds"). The takeout is the same as Churchill Downs's 16%, so finding a good bet is not impossible.

Like most futures, if your horse doesn't start, you lose.

They took a bath on Smarty Jones (I talked to the bookmaker at the Palms about it) and they've adjusted to the point where there's absolutely no value in trying the future boards in Vegas.

A horse like Hard Spun would have been 50-1 at this point 3 years ago... now he's 12-1.

Is that 75-1 on the Green Monkey for him to win the derby or just for him to run in a race?
