I am always wrong about Kellys Landing Hooves. Whenever I like him, he tosses in a bad one. When I throw him out, he sets track records. No I dont like him tomorrow so he'll probably win going away and pay $17, lol! Good luck in that race, no real strong opinion yet.

Kelly's Landing looks like the probable favorite and winner of this race. His last race is a throw out. Post 14 going at CD on BC Day was not the place to be. It looks like he'll have pace to run at and if it doesn't he's shown that he can run close up and win. He likes the track, The outside post gives Prado options. I think he is a strong win candidate. Unfortunately I think a lot of bettors will agree.

I'll take Paradise Dancer if he can creep up to 5-1 or better and hope Kelly doesn't bring his A game. Probably will take a neg sheet # to win this which eliminates a bunch.

I think the favorites all have holes. Weigelia is inconsistent. Paradise Dancer has never run a good race at GP and Kelly's Landing can either be a world beater or a fair pony. I think the CAN bred Slam Bammy looks very tough but he is unproven against this kind of class. 4/1 may be a little low to take on him. An outsider that I like is Hither Lane. He shouldnt be too far out of his element. Its a step up in class for sure but he is an improving horse, perhaps the only horse in the race who fits that description. He is also a pretty tough horse. I expect the pace to be swift but not suicidal. Weigelia and Mach Ride should set it but Hither Lane has enough speed to go to the front as well. Should be an interesting race in any event.

1)Hither Lane
2)Slam Bammy
3)Weigelia

Default Mr. Prospector

Watch out for Mach Ride in the Mr. Prospector at a good price. You can toss the last 2(ran on the lead against the bias at Keeneland and stumbled badly at the start of the Kings Bishop) The Carry Back is the race that interests me. He vied for the lead along the inside in quick splits on a day when outside closers ruled and the rail was dead and still held on for a good second to Too Much Bling. Kelly's Landing also put in a good performance against that same bias on July 15. Like that exacta also.

I don't think the pace is going to be very fast. I don't like Weigelia coming back 3 weeks after a hard slop race and I also don't like kelly's Landing who sure looks like he needs to come from last or next to last today. Kelly's Landing won a couple grae 3's but was 12-1 or so in thise races. I'm sure not going to use him or bet him to win at a short nu,ber today.

I'll play a 1-2-4 ExBox and I'll use Blazing Pursuit 2nd and 3rd with these in the Tri if he's 20-1 or more which I think is worthwhile as he's the only one (other than KL) who can clunk up for a piece late.

I agree with you Stud. I dont want anything to do with Weigelia or Kellys Landing. I think Slam Bammy wires this field. The way this horse has been training, its impossible to me to think anybody can keep up with him early.
Slam Bammy says goodbye.

maybe he does. i watched 4-5 of his races last night and in his last two races, he just couldn't lose the way they set up. he was my last toss due to class and especially running outside NJ. I could very well be wrong.
