This must be a pretty fast 2 year old filly. She is a Calbred running her 1st race against open straight maiden fillies in the 7th race on Saturday.Are they not writing many Calbred straight maiden filly races? This is the 2 yr. old half sister to the 3 yr. old Calbred filly named Imagine.Both are daughters of the good stakes filly Smooth Player.Imagine broke her maiden very easily a week or so ago.Unlike this filly,Imagine has been kept against Calbreds(so far,)and didn't race until late in her 3 year old year.

I like to see them a race against straight maidens in their first race. This gives them a better chance to fire their bullet against (sometimes) softer Cal Breds without putting a tag on them.
