Default SAT - Papi, FG PK4 and more

Calder - Race 5

#10 Croton Road - Nice 2nd in Calder Derby last out.

#1 #1A #1X - Tagg trio fit well here, expect 1 to SCR

#3 Gimme Credit - 5 out of last 6 and faced some toughies at KEE (Kip Deville & Strom Treasure)

The Play - Exacta Box 10 with 1 3

Race 9 - Kris S

#9 STORM IN MAY - Picks up Cruz after encountering trouble and failing as the favorite in the Appleton Juvy last month. BEST BET. If you can get anything over 3-1, I suggest you jump in head first.

Aqueduct - R8 Queens County G3

#1 Papi Chullo - Maybe the worst mishandled horse in the U.S. might finally get his 1st Graded victory. Small field with big questions. I'm going to back him once again.

#2 Smart Growth - In good form, but who did he beat at DEL?

#3 Naughty New Yorker - Has shown in the past that he doesn't want any part of graded company.

#4 Angliana - McLaughlin/Jara try to keep it going.

#5 Magna Graduate - Dull effort as the fav in the Ack Ack on BC day. Dubai hangover continues. If he's ready, he'll make mincemeat out of this field, but I'm leaning towards the hangover.

#6 Awesome Twist - Better suited as a closer in sprint races.

The Play - W/P on Papi Chullo

Fair Grounds - Louisiana Champions Day - Late PK4

Race 8 - Turf

#6 Spruce's Prince - Ultra consistent. 9 of last 10 ITM finishes and has won off the bench.

#7 Desert Wheat - Has faced graded company in last 4 and has been packing bullets at Payson Park.

Race 9 - Ladies Sprint

#5 Cajun Mistress - Speed always dangerous. Had some company up front @LRL in the G3 Safely Kept and faded. Might be long gone here.

#8 Zarba the Great - All of her career wins have come at the distance and she likes state breds.

#9 Halo Humor - Off since Jan, but has been training steadily for Blasi.

Race 10 - Lassie

#1 Grand Facile - Dusted the field in the Magnolia at DeD and going for 7th win of the year.

#6 Blueyed Lass - Nice blowout on Thurs and the turf to dirt angle should help her cause.

Race 11 - Classic

#10 Costa Rising - 4-1 ML I wish, more like odds on at post time. He's dominated state breds all year and was competitive in G2 Super Derby.

The Play - PK4 - 6 7 with 5 8 9 with 1 6 with 10 = $12 for a buck play (punch it a couple of times)

Hollywood - Race 9 - Holly Turf Cup G1

#2 Meteor Storm (GB) - Well traveled classy horse making his 3rd start of the year. Closed into pedestrian like fractions in the Can Int'l and likes the 12 furlongs.

#5 T.H. Approval - Solid closer did not show up in tough BC Turf, but this G1 came up a little light and he's a major player.

The Play - Exacta Box or Quinella 2 5

Good Racing Luck

Bogey, you couldn't be more right about that. He reminds of how Toccet
was mishandled but his owner. Never saw how great these two horses
could have been.

I sincerely hope today is the day for him to get a graded win...no horse deserves a G1 more than Papi IMO (I realize this is no G1) ...Probably won't put my $$ down to give him a better chance to get it done

I haven't looked at the race yet,but isn't this the horse that struggled to get by horses the other day(I don't think it was even a stakes.)I have seen bits of talent from the horse(the long sprint at HWD was nice,)but you must not think much of the others in this field.

yeah, his last race was aginst questionable allowance horses...he's probably up against it again...but I am just a huge fan of this horse (read unreasonable) and want to see him get a graded win.

I hope some of you were able to cash in on the $42.20 exacta 10 -1 Calder race 5 and Magna Graduate sobered up in the Queens County. Magna Graduate was much the best, but our buddy Papi Chullo was a decent 2nd. Not a bad start, now lets keep it going.
