Gates Wins Confirmation By Vote of 95-2

I guess members of both parties whit fairly happy with President Bush's selection Robert Gates as the new Secretary of Defense. Gates was approved by the Senate by a vote of 95-2.

If I recall, there was someone on this board who thought Gates might have a problem being approved. That person was incorrect.
