Three winning wagers were made at Oaklawn on Saturday and two of our payout slots were filled.
Cal hit a tri but fell short of profitability. Digger played Skippylongstockings and his profit put him
in second place with a $20 profit. The winner of the Arkansas afternoon was Ruffian. After a Ruff
start to the season with 85 consecutive losing bets the Regal Ruffalo finally nailed one. A $20 win
bet on Jokestar (and when I saw the name I immediately checked her wagers) returned $362 to
Ruff and perhaps that wager is a sign of things to come. Congrats on the win Ruffian. Nicely
played. Following are the unofficial results pending a review. As an added observation Ruffian
got her 15-1 morning line price on Jokester. The Oaklawn morning line maker also had Caldera
at 15-1 in race 6. He must have been a jokester cause there was no way Caldera should have
been that high. Just my opinion. See you next week as we only have one more contest before
the Derby.

The best laid plans of mice and men RQ. I saw that 15-1 on Caldera and I thought I might get a juicy win, but the first flash of the odds board ruined that notion when her odds were 1 to 9. I lost that race, but even had I won the payoff would have been pretty terrible.
