It should be a great, if long, day of racing. Even the maiden races have huge purses ($170,000 for each of the 4 MSW races).

If you haven't played Kentucky Downs before, you might want to look at a couple of their races this afternoon (they are dark on Friday) to understand just how different this track is compared to the typical North American racetrack. It has a definite European feel to it, with uphill and downhill segments and different radius turns.

When you handicap this 12 race card, I would recommend that you start early. By my count, the card has a total of 179 entrants, including all of the also eligibles. At least we don't have to worry about MTO's since there is no dirt course, only the single turf one.
