Legends - Ron McAnally

Anyone catch this last night on TVG? It was a very good interview. I have always respected and liked Ron. But there was one funny part of the interview. Ron and Lyons were talking about if it upsets Ron that he hasnt won a Triple Crown race. Ron's answer was basically no. Ron went on to say that he tries to buy older horses because they are already proven animals where yearlings arent. He said that you dont even know if the yearling is going to make it to the track. Then Lyons says, Yeah, it is hard to spend millions of dollars on a 2 year old and then he may never make it to the track--then Ron said, or maybe like spending $16 million. I wonder what Ron was inferring to.......anyway, great show.
