![]() All and all it was a tough day at Belmont with only two tickets cashed and only one
player making some Cold Hard Cash. Zippy hit a nice paying exacta but wasn't able to add onto his total after race 3. Our only point getter on Saturday was Digger who caught a nice $305 payout in race 5. That was Digger's 4th win for the season and an easy victory it was. Congrats on the win Digger. Nicely played. Following are the unofficial results. See you all next week wherever we wind up. I hear an upstate NY racetrack is running and it's been a long time (never) since we visited Finger Lakes. WIN... Digger... +$205.00... R5: 4 ( show $100 ) $6.10 X 50... $305.00 Zippy -$45.50 R3 3-5-7-8 $2exbx... $54.50 Don Guido -$96.00 Real Quiet -$99.00 Joly B -$100.00 Cal828 -$100.00 Indian Hemp -$100.00 Ruffian -$100.00 Cruzan -$100.00 Eclipse -$100.00 Plenilune -$100.00

![]() ![]() However, I think I'd prefer to follow the directions attributed to Red Smith, which read, "from NYC proceed about 175 miles North. Exit highway upon Union Avenue and go back 100 years." Not certain where that will take me ![]() Digger, congrats on another ROI win. I think that you are on to something. ![]() |

![]() I thought about taking us to Prairie Meadows, but the first two races were for quarter horses so that ended that idea pretty quickly and also, I couldn't deprive us of a couple of Grade Ones at Belmont and even though we didn't fare so well, except for Digger and Zippy, those were some pretty interesting races, I thought. I think Plen was the only one of us that hit that feature race tri in the points contest. Wouldn't be surprised if she won that contest. For myself, I doubt I hit 50 points. Those were some very tough races.
