![]() Nothing to report on the ROI debaucle at Churchill. It was a "Bad Day at Blackrock". For the first
time this season we do not have a winner. In fact Zippy was the only player to cash a ticket and the biggest winners were "Scratches". Off to the next venue of Indian Hemps choosing. Rumor has it that he's a big fan of Assiniboia (it took me forever to learn how to spell it so I use it whenever I can). Any errors please let me know. See you next week. Plenilune -$50.00 Cal828 -$68.00 Zippy -$72.00 R10...1-2-7-8 $2exbx... $28.00 Cruzan -$75.00 Joly B -$96.00 Real Quiet -$99.00 Indian Hemp -$100.00 Ruffian -$100.00 Don Guido -$100.00 Eclipse -$100.00 Digger -$100.00 Roamin -$100.00

![]() Assiniboia might be even harder to say. I'm guessing it might be Ah-sin-nib-wah, but I usually get things like that wrong. With a bunch of stakes at Churchill I am wondering whether we might be headed back there for another whuppin'?

![]() It would be an interesting change of pace to visit Assiniboia Downs. Unfortunately, we would need to do so on our own time, since their 2022 racing schedule is limited to Monday through Wednesday.
Cal, I share your feelings about the quality of Churchill's stakes filled card this Saturday. It will be interesting to see where Indian Hemp decides to take us. |
