https://www.paulickreport.com/news/t...raining-bills/

Wesley Ward and Mike Maker claim Ramsey owes them almost a million each.

Isn’t Nolan Ramsey (Ken’s grandson) Maker’s main assistant in Florida? That must be weird.

My other question is how can a guy not pay his trainers for like 20 years and still own horses?

You'd be amazed at the number of years several of my family members continued to "lend" money to my one cousin with his main argument being "you know I'm good for it."

Spoiler: He was not "good for it."

Also, wasn't Maker screwed by Zayat as well? Maybe he needs someone different handling his accounts.

"Maker, contacted by text March 22, confirmed with BloodHorse that he had reached an agreement with Ramsey and has directed his attorney to drop the lawsuit."

He comes across bad in every way with this but in that article he says it was bad business by Wesley Ward not just saying to him, hey pay me or I’m going to file suit.

Just pay your trainers you deadbeat.

Takes a long time before someone decides to bring in lawyers and give them a healthy piece of what is owed to them.
