Default Tim Conway RIP

Sad to see Tim Conway passed away . Funny Guy and big hoss fan . My dad was friends with him and used to go to the track in Cali with him and Ernie Anderson.
His hossracing movie The Longshot was really good.

Interesting interview with Trevor Denman who looks about 12 years old.

I was fortunate to meet him many moons ago at Hollywood Park. Shook hands and then we whipped out the Form and he said "You like anybody here ?" I met him many times after that and it was just like meeting any nice guy at the track. I met Dick Van Patten, Mel Brooks and a bunch of others. We always talked racing.

I liked all that bunch. And I miss Hollywood Park.

RIP Tim. although we used to call him Tom, his real first name.

He was a super guy and big fan and supporter of racing, many donations to great racing causes.

I think we knew he was in rough shape, but it's still so devastating.

He had a lot of great sketches and characters. This is always a favorite one, always a gutbuster: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qqE_WmagjY
