He's a cool horse, DTS...

Do you have any mares you'd consider him for?

Cajun,
I really like the Deputy Minister sons. High Cliff had Mesopotamia that was one of his sons. I bred Bourbon Streettune to him. Mesopotamia had a winner last week at Finger Lakes, I'm a Mess. Now that he's off the farm, I'll be thinking of Talk is Money for Bourbon. The yearling filly, Shot o' Bourbon is a beauty...gorgeous chestnut with a super temperment.
The Stanislavsky weanling filly is also looking good, I finally got a grey.
Sumitas advised me to breed Bourbon Streettune to Key Contender to bring the Ice Capade genes.
We'll just have to see how this shakes out.
As I've said before, Doc O'Cain runs a quality operation. He's been very helpful to me. I'll certainly ask his advice as well.

Good luck with all of your new ones, Wayne. I agree with Sumitas on the Icecapade genetics. Very smart decision IMO...

Cajun,
Thanks for your input. I have some time to make a decision. Bourbon Streettune is in foal to another High Cliff stallion, Best of Luck. She'll foal at the end of Feb or early March. I hope to breed her on her foal heat.
If you haven't had a chance to look at the High Cliff stallions, you can get their link off the nybreds.com page. Their link is on the right side (blue).

Yeah, I've been on there. Best of Luck is a gorgeous stallion... I'm a huge fan of the Ack Ack line.

Best of Luck has done pretty nicely. one of his, Best of Buddies won the Hawthorne Derby a couple of weeks ago.
I like the press room at High Cliff's site. Lots of folks outside of NY that play tracks like Mountaineer, Charlestown, and Philly Park might see some of their stallions progeny run there. It's worth a look for cappers that look for cycles.
