![]() So I copied my post on the Venue thread based on JB's excellent idea . . . have at it!!! A gathering of those who can and would like to meet an greet. BTW - Anet (Patty) and I are not getting any younger. And we have others in our small tightly knit forum family similar or near our senior position in life.
_________________________________ I like it JB and the meet and greet is a great idea. Maybe a little more time to prepare . . . so along that line let's all talk about this happening sometime this year in a place that's not too hot, rain chances are slim and that has other evirons or attraction around it that add to the visit. Hmmmmm, Del Mar Churchill (horse farm visits ) Keeneland (horse farm visits ) Saratoga Oaklawn Gulfstream (rain?/heat? Fairgrounds (rain?/heat?) Come to mind, any others tracks to consider and how many of us are up to trying to make this happen. I'll start a new thread for this if there's any interest at all. Thanks JB for the inspiration.

![]() Ohhh...Keeneland for the fall meet! Cooler temps, breeding season is long, long over. Not only horse farms to visit but Old Friends! The Ky Horse Park is very nice, as well.

![]() I like your Keeneland choice Plenilune. I have a pretty good contact there in the business who might be able to arrange some up close horse farm visits. The operative word is "might". Let's keep this thread going and see what we can make happen this year. None of us are getting any younger
