Best Value: #6 Speeding Comet 8-1 3rd
Next Best: #9 Disco Partner 9-5 4th
Exotics Use: #10 Changewilldoyagood 6-1 6th
Super Add: #1 Chiltern Street 10-1 2nd

P5 Grid:

1: 5 (A), 1-9 (B), 2-3-6-8 (C)
2: 10-11 (A), 2-8-9 (B), 3-5-7 (C)
3: 2 (A), - (B), - (C)
4: 4-7 (A), - (B), 1-5-6 (C)
5: 6-9-10 (A), - (B), 1-4-7 (C)

Simple (A+B): 3x5x1x2x3 = 90 x .50 = $45
All A's: 1x2x1x2x3 = $12 ($6 for .50)

P4 Grid:

2: 10-11 (A), 2-3-8-9 (B), 5-7 (C)
3: 2 (A), 1 (B), 3-5-7 (C)
4: 4-7 (A), - (B), 1-5-6 (C)
5: 6-9-10 (A), 1-4-7 (B), - (C)

Simple (A+B): 6x2x2x6 = 144 x .50 = $72
All A's: 2x1x2x3 = $12 ($6 for .50)

6th: 14th Victory Ride (G3), 3yo-F, 6.5f (P6, P3, DD)

Very well matched group that bodes nicely for the Test upstate with the likes of Kareena expected. D'Amato invader Coppa may bring California heat that overwhelms this group, but remember that until Obviously broke through a couple weeks ago, trainer's shipping mark was ugly. Malibu Stacy broke out off 5 month hiatus and looks to have right style behind pacesetters at nice number..

Best Value: #7 Malibu Stacy 10-1 2nd
Next Best: #9 Coppa 2-1 WON ($3.90)
Exotics Use: #8 Lost Raven 4-1 4th
Super Add: #5 Behrnik's Bank 20-1 5th

7th: 99th Dwyer (G3), 3yo, 1m (G/S, P3, DD)

Understand looking to beat Economic Model, but those carping over his Easy Goer perfect trip should acknowledge that stalkers sitting behind pace duels often figure to be a recipient in those scenarios; just like in this spot today. Didn't expect Voluntario to show up in the tabs but hard to deny his consistent form against real company..

Most Likely: #6 Economic Model 1-1 2nd
Best Value: #3 Voluntario 8-1 4th
Next Best: #8 Fish Trappe Road 8-1 WON ($8.70)
Exotics Use: #5 Unbridled Outlaw 15-1 6th

8th: 67th Belmont Derby (G1), 3yo, 10f-IT (P4, P3, DD)

Euros look more imposing here than in girls' race. On the local front, with all the cooing over Highland Sky and Camelot Kitten, why isn't Toughest 'Ombre getting attention? After wide berth and disadvantageous front end voyage in Penine Ridge, Albertrani colt gets cozy draw and big pilot upgrade to Franco. Colt has come alive with move to lawn and appears primed for jump forward in big spot..

Most Likely: #7 Long Island Sound 7-2 6th
Best Value: #1 Toughest 'Ombre 30-1 12th
Next Best: #13 Deauville 4-1 WON ($14.60)
Exotics Use: #4 Highland Sky 8-1 2nd
Super Add: #9 Beach Patrol 12-1 3rd

9th: 130th Suburban (G2), 4+, 10f (P3, DD)

For P4 purposes, I'm going to join Jimmy Jerkens and put a line through Effinex miscue at Downs. His good races are better than these..

Most Likely: #5 Effinex 5-2 WON ($6.30)
Next Best: #3 Shaman Ghost 5-1 5th
Best Value: #6 Turco Bravo 20-1 6th
Exotics Use: #4 Eagle 5-1 4th

10th: 38th Belmont Oaks (G1), 3yo-F, 10f-IT (DD)

As discussed this week on ATR, strong group of soph fillies assemble for this led by BC Juvy Filly Turf star Catch a Glimpse who has gone from strength to strength. Won't be surprised if slower early fractions make her just as tough late at this distance as she's been during extended win streak going shorter. That said, Time and Motion and Harmonize will be more attractively priced and have plenty going for them. As with Toughest 'Ombre, 30-1 Last Waltz should not be ignored at the least as a late running exotics player..

Most Likely: #4 Time and Motion 6-1 2nd
Best Value: #6 Harmonize 10-1 5th
Next Best: #12 Catch a Glimpse 2-1 WON ($8.80)
Exotics Use: #7 Ballydoyle 3-1 13th
Super Add: #9 Last Waltz 30-1 7th

11th: 9th Belmont Sprint Championship, 3+, 7f

Lynch has said he's looking for Private Zone to be less aggressive up front and Clocker Report from Vesce indicates he's been trained that way. Respect but vulnerable..

Best Value: #8 Ready for Rye 8-1 3rd
Next Best: #2 Private Zone 2-1 4th
Exotics Use: #9 Marking 4-1 2nd
Super Add: #5 A.P. Indian 10-1 WON ($13.80)

P4 Grid:

8: 1-7 (A), 4-13 (B), 5-6-9 (C)
9: 5 (A), - (B), 2-3-4-6 (C)
10: 4-6-7-12 (A), 2-5-8-9 (B), 1-3-10-11-13 (C)
11: 2-8-9 (A), - (B), 5-7 (C)

Simple (A+B): 4x1x8x3 = 96 x .50 = $48
All A's: 2x1x4x3 = 24 ($12 for .50)

Good luck!
Steve

Unforunately Rain is the current chalk at 1/2 but it is expected to be light and with the ground being so hard If I were a betting man I would bet that the graded races stay on the Turf.

Suppose Samraat (given Jose Ortiz).. though nothing says Smith doesn't just go forward with Effinex. Might be the right approach given his seeming sulking in the Foster.
