Default Presque Isle Downs does it again

Spent a few hours on Thursday night handicapping the Rainbow, went to Presque Isle to bet it and.................. shockingly we couldn't make the bet. On a positive note we played a pick 3 and hit for 336...so all was not lost.

A director of racing Debbie Howells special!

They haven't taken the bet one time this entire meet.

I asked them for an official explanation... here it is in all of its glory: "you can only make that bet one 10-cent ticket at a time. We only have two tellers upstairs and two downstairs. It's just not fair to other customers to tie up the lines."

I have repeatedly explained to the mutuals that they're wrong... but they always tell me "sorry, we don't make the rules. It's Debbie Howells call. You can talk to her about it."

Glad you hit.

Nothing like having someone running the show that doesn't have a clue.

It's hilarious. I asked the photo finish guy sarcastically if he thinks that she ever made a bet in her life.

He told me "actually, she told us that she went to the Meadows with a group of friends and bet a horse to show."

There are many great stories floating around about her utter incompetence. She is truly one of a kind.

Maybe she can get a paddock analyst job. Sounds like she is qualified.
