Default Gander/Santa Anita Wed.

looks like a great downhill turf sprint on opening day. Should be able to get a decent price on some of these...if you can just find one to beat Cambiocorsa.

Im sure Cambio will take tons of money, considering she is 7 for 7 down the hill at SA. Should be some very juicy prices on a few legitimate horses....

Looking for a nice Exacta? The hill course is one where specialists really do win a lot of races; they have just the right balance and stride to take the right-turn, left-turn sequence, then not lose momentum crossing the main track. Many a good flat-track horse can't adapt.

This is the most wide open race I have seen in a long while. It will be the horse with the cleanest trip. There will be good value on some of these next out.

Cambiocorsa will go gate to wire with Jon Court along to do what he does best out west. STEAL the race.

She is clearly the one to deny.

You can throw out Private Banking now, LOL.

I am tabbing Hello Lucky on top. The son of Lucky Lionel should relish the downhill trip. I look for the Eric Guillot charge to be on the lead early, put away the hot chalk Cambiorsca and get home at a square price. She ran a strong 2nd in her only turf start. David "the small giant" Cohen takes the reins.

I love to watch racing at Santa Anita, such a scenic backdrop. One of the few tracks I could just sit here and watch racing from and enjoy without having a wager.

The downhill turf course alone makes Santa Anita my favorite track to watch.
The feature race on Wednesday is proof of that.
Sandra's Rose has always been good on this course, but I don't see Cambricorsa losing.

Cambiocorsa makes it 8 for 8 down the hill. Just watched the replay....man she moves over that course like floating on air. Beautiful to watch.

I've never seen a horse corner that well coming into the stretch on the dirt patch in those downhill sprints. Those races are usually won or lost there, this horse is simply amazing. Never a doubt yesterday.
