Emerald always seems to draw this great enthusiasm...

My friends who live up there are probably the most loyal track visitors I know.

(Anyone know when we'll be seeing Wasserman?).

Nice story Old Dog.

That that NY Times.

I went out to the track yesterday and it was just chalk city. It was really hard to go against the favorites yesterday. But go figure the lone big win bet i put on in race 6, Old West runs up the track.

rumor is up there that Wasserman will be running, probably in mid to high claimers ($15,000 maybe) at Emerald.

He's a cool old horse

... but you're kidding, right? Typo? $15,000?

No matter what happens or where he is entered he is a cool old horse, I agree.

very pretty gal, super hard worker in the mornings, very friendly and getting better each day.

she dates another rider from up here, Jorge Rosales. She wins at 20%, he's been at about 7%

Looking forward to making my 'maiden' visit to Emerald on July 6th. Nice to see TVG carrying some of the cards to help with some homework before going out there. Hopefully the field sizes will be a little bigger and not quite as chalky by the beginning of July. Friday night under the lights!!

yeah your right, probably more like 7500 or 10k. I mean he was getting dusted pretty well by Portland Small Stakes and allowance types the last time he was here, horses that are 10 to 15k runners at Emerald

i had Joe Withee from EMD on my radio show last week and he said Assessment was back in training and pointing towards the Mile as a long term goal.

I believe his owner Lou Tice actually just passed away a few weeks ago

He's in R6 on Sunday for the ridiculous fee of $22,500.
