I don't like that there's only 23 races over less than 2.5 months to determine a winner of a contest that will get several thousand entries.
Why not start it on Jan 1st?

Don't forget all.....
This week you can add 3 horses to each stable. Very important for those who have seen some of your horses such as Out of Bounds fall off the trail. Good Luck with those picks all!

I'm going to wait, as you need to add the three horses all at once. I was hoping we could spot pick the three over the next two weeks.
I might have to wait until the night before the Wood Memorial and Santa Anita Derby,so that by then I hope to know who will be pretty much lined up for the Arkansas Derby and Bluegrass the following weekend. However, with Alpha's departure from the La. Derby, I only have Discreet Dancer in 2 of my 4 stables. I'm not so confident of him, so I'd like to see Cigar St. get in after a good workout tomorrow afternoon.

Glad you posted this. I wasn't aware that you had to add all three at once! I'm waiting too. Can't believe the Spiral or Sunland will produce much this year.

I'm going to pick up three new horses for 2 of my 4 stables. The other two, I need to save the picks for a few Grade I's (to make sure I have at least two options in each of the Grade I preps coming up).
I'm in a position to select two horses running in the Louisiana Derby, Mark Valeski and Cigar Street. The other hole I need to fill is the Bluegrass, and as an option to Hansen, I've picked Drill. At least he's committed to the race, not so sure about Hansen. Instead of Drill, I might substitute Attenborough (planning to run in the Bluegrass) in my other two stables. He would definitely stand out as a longshot it leapfrog me if he wins it Last edited by Mike : 03-31-2012 at 06:59 PM.
