Default Champions Day chit chat thread

It's been mentioned somewhere but figured it needed its own thread...

Can't wait!

How the fields are shaping up...

http://horses.sportinglife.com/Racec...451775,00.html

Glad Nathaniel will be there... too bad poor Hoof It won't...

http://www.thoroughbrednews.com.au/i....aspx?id=55831

Poor Cavalryman. Here's hoping Frankie does NOT have the mount. (I'm assumiong since Opinion Poll is the only definite runner for the boys in blue Frankie gets him and - fingers crosse - Barzalona might get the mount) (?)...

At this early stage I'm gonna say Ms. Immortal Verse beats (gasp!) Frankel but what do I know...

What are you all looking forward to?

Forgot to add this...

I was surprised about Blue Bunting but here's the reason (and a Delegator update)...

Blue Bunting
“The QIPCO British Champion Fillies And Mares Stakes was the plan for Blue Bunting but she did not really sparkle at the weekend and we have taken the view that she has done enough for the year. I think it is quite possible that she will stay in training - a decision will be made over the course of the next few weeks.

Delegator
“We are hoping Delegator is going to be invited to Hong Kong - he seems to do all of his best racing when super fresh so we thought we would wait for that and hope he gets in.”

She should wear her true colors--but that will never happen.

But she has nothing to do so no big surprise.

I think Frankel wins again.

I hope So You Think can win his race, but I also like Nathaniel there.

Yeah that's a really great field... Snow Fairy, Cirrus des Aigles, Wigmore Hall and these two (and how many others?)...

I'm just going to watch I think.

I am however playing my girl to win (and am SO happy Mosse has the mount) and something like....

Immortal Verse / Dick Turpin, Excelebration, Frankel / Dick Turpin, Excelebration, Frankel, Side Glance, Dubawi Gold

Whoa, hadn't even heard of Cirrus Des Aigles, but that was a great performance.

Frankel, Dancing Rain and Fame And Glory were all fantastic as well.

.
Can't have been paying attention to French racing. He'd only won 4 group races in France this year and placed in G1s to some mighty runners - second to Goldikova in the Prix d'Ispahan, third to Planteur and Sarafina in the Prix Ganay, second to Sarafina in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud.
