Default Debt deal vote about to happen in the House

Within next 15 minutes, they are calling them to the floor now for the vote. Most say it should pass. Senate will vote upon tomorrow.

Passed - but the best thing was Gabrielle Giffords returned for the first time to vote! A complete surprise, she showed up on the floor about halfway through.

And her courage is to be respected not the subject of cheap political shots. It was great to see her back where she belongs, a symbol of the American spirit overcoming the evil intentions of a sick mind.

By God, everyone is now so fond of having guns pointed at their heads that they've abandoned any notion of maintaining a system of governance that is remotely functional.

Rather than having two elected bodies that present policy, stage debates, and take votes, lawmakers now want to offload the duty of making tough choices to a "Super Committee."

And if that fails, there will be a trigger that shoots everyone where it hurts them most.

That's what it takes, in 2011, for our elected officials to be forced into performing the bare minimum of their job descriptions.

Well, Riot, this wouldn't he happening if it hadn't been happening for 2.5 years already. They are calling a chicken shyt's bluff. Why wouldn't they? Always works, and he needs to be punished appropriately. I'm not gunna back this chicken shyt traitor anymore. Done. Soon as a Turk got in his face, he threw the Armenians under the bus. Whoever looks him in the eye owns his weak chicken shyt ass. He better get every female vote he can. Hustle hard. Lot of males can't take this shyt anymore.

He never was a real Democrat. He pictures himself as a post-partisan conciliator.

He won't be primaried. But what I'm reading on Kos is that alot of people have bailed out of MoveOn, and will refuse to do boots on the ground like 2008. They will go for getting really left progressives into Congress, and leave the top of the ticket to fend for itself.

Strange, if you read RedState and Kos the past two days, both are sure they've been totally screwed by their respective reps. Probably right in the sense that yeah, we all have been.
