Tough to run races when jocks won't come out of the room.

Even Imbriale seemed confused when he announced it.

It's beyond windy today - I don't know what it was like at the track, but it's absolutely howling out here on LI

Only mistake was that they even started to race today.

I would guess this was not in management decision? Maybe the jocks gave it a try and then thought the better of it? This is part of the game, it is not going to change.

Blustery, strong wind gusts were coming from all different directions according to David Cohen. Wasn't like winds in one steady direction which can be dealt with or adjusted to...

I can't believe we're hearing the typical blame NYRA bullshit for this. . . Cancelling today is completely justified.

I was being a bit facetious, of course. However, it took quite a bit of time for an announcement as to an explanation as to why the races were being cancelled. Those of us sitting at home were caught completely off guard by that announcement, particularly those of us with live pk4's.

Did the winds change that significantly from the 1st to the 3rd or should they never have raced in the first place?

Yeah. I slept in 40 degree weather in my house last night b/c we've been without power since 10am yesterday. Incredible gusts.
