To those capping today at the Spa turf condition

They are off the turf in the 5th race, the maiden race already. Stakes race is still on and I was told that as of now that the last race is as well. I'm a little puzzled by this, as the MSW is a higher value race than the maiden claimer in the last but thats what i was told.

They are off the 5th because it is on the Mellon Turf like the Saranac. They don't want to tear it up before the Saranac (which Green Lemon will win). The last race is on the inner turf. I don't think they care if they tear up the turf at this point in the meet.

Gee for a guy who knows it all you sure don't know much. Green Lemon is scratched as everyone up here knew he would be.
