So I was reading this...

... and, after the initial shock (wow a woman wins a riding title? What's next, monkeys in space? I'm sorry but isn't it ridiculous we still see headlines like this?) I wondered how many are there?

The Baze family... how many of them are jockeys?

Anyone know?

Who are the other first families of racing (present day and historically)?

Vicky is a Baze by marriage. Married Gary Baze. She was pretty successful as Vicky Aragon previously.

Russell Baze
Michael Baze
Tyler Baze
Joe Baze, Russell's Dad
Gary Baze, Russell's cousin
Vicky Baze, Gary's wife
Michael Baze, Sr., brother of Gary
Dale Baze, Russell's brother

I think that's it, unless you add in Kyle Kaenel who married Russell's daughter
