About to get awful interesting in this game. They were just taking shots at Kane like crazy. Sopel is gonna come in and wreck some havoc.

You're getting San Jose big man, the Hawks better get ready to dig in.

I thought i had missed something too or he wanted to play the Suns. San Jose should have no trouble with a tired Blackhawks team. It was a good run for the Blackbirds.

The Hawks played one more game than San Jose? Tired?

San Jose played nine-man against the Wings. I'm not sure they'll get the same benefit in a matchup with American poster-boy Kane, Canadian wunderkind Toews, and agitator extraordinaire Byfuglien.

My first reaction is that he was talking NBA and I was going to let him know the Magic already beat the Hawks. Then, on my second or third reading, I figured out he was talking hockey.

Possibly. Your Hawks are going to have thier hands full with the Sharks. Wings got destroyed by the Sharks.

It won't be easy, but they always play decently against the Sharks. They can handle the up and down teams..it's the trapping teams like Nashville and Minnesota that give them problems.

Hawks in 6

He tried to grow a playoff beard LY and it looked like some kind of mutant radiation poisoning so he went the mullet route this year.

The Wings got "destroyed" by the Sharks because as Matthew Barnaby put it, some of the "worst officiating ever" ended any chance the Wings had in that series. I don't see how a team that wins a series with four one goal wins and one 7-1 loss "destroyed" the opposition.

Like I said, I think the NHL is going all NBA-like this postseason and basically calling the shots. If the Blackhawks don't win with their NHL golden boys, I'd be shocked. I don't think the Sharks are going to get anywhere near the number of power plays they were awarded in the Wings series - THE reason the Sharks won that series was because of a couple convenient 5-on-3's in both games one and two - and I'd think Kane and Toews and Duncan Keith and the woe-be-gone Bryan Campbell-less Hawks are being primed for a Stanley Cup (their first in the average American's lifetime) by Gary Bettman and friends.

I was teasing her because I thought it was kind of funny that there has been very little hockey chatter (especially from 2 of the main contributers, yourself and Miss Dani who happen just happen to be huge Caps fans) since the Presidents Cup winnners went out prematurely. Then out of nowhere a Go Habs post comes up. So I was just having a little fun.
Obviously there is no way in the world that I could root for that little **** (insert whatever 4 letter word you like, I'm think the one that begins with C) and the rest of the Penguins. Honestly I really haven't watched and I'm won't lose any sleep over whoever wins.
I just thought the post was a little comical knowing how big a Caps fan she is.

You, Math, and Zig are sick of Cindy, you should live in Pittsburgh, the Crosby love is constant and multiplied x1000. They are down 2-0 and the Penguin announcers' are already crying a river about the refs. This could be great, Go Flyers.
