![]() It doesn't seem they will avoid a wet track today at Hallandale Beach and plays will be slightly adjusted later on. Still, a fun card with plenty of options.
Gulfstream Park - POST SCRATCHES - changes to the late PK4 due to track condition R1 – MSW 45k (Turf 5F) #1 Crimson Glory – Filly seems fit to try the boys. Will show speed from the rail. #9 Assorted Colors – Should be in good position turning for home. #4 Nehru – SCR #6 Montana Knight – West Point runner makes debut and looks ready off works. 3RD Main: 1 3 5 4 R2 – Alw 48k N1X #8 Mission Impazible – I’m sure he’s matured for Pletcher since his G3 KyJuv race last April. 2ND #7 Three Day Rush – Expect him to give his stablemate (#8) a stiff challenge. WON #4 Sky Venture – Despite slow start was able to grind out a maiden win in last. #2 Satisfied Mind – Broke maiden on a sloppy track in May at CD at < 2-1. Upgrade if wet. R3 – Starter Alw10k (Turf 8F) #10 Thebandisloose – Ran 15 times in ’09 and hit the board in most. Fits well at this level. #4 Jubilee’s Surprise – Has been 1st or 2nd in last 4 and Coa takes the call. #5 Prime Precision – Should be used underneath in gimmicks. 2ND #7 Surprise Kiss – Will show some speed, the big question is the mile distance. R4 – MSW 45k #9 Moe Man – Makes important 3rd start and exits a productive race were he lost all chance when clipping heals. 3RD #7 Systematic Risk – Maiden has already tried stakes company twice including a distant 4th in the G2 Nashua. #8 Cravin Caden – Closed well in only start and is in good hands. 4TH #5 Desert Lord – Ran a decent enough race in debut after a troubled start. Top J/T combo. 2ND R5 – Spectacular Bid 100k #2 Discreetly Mine – Definitely has the class edge and finds himself in Top barn. 4TH #5 Westover Wildcat – Has shown some quality and might take the race to them. 2ND #1 SCR #3 Wildcat Frankie – Ran a bang up race across town in debut. Tricky read. 2ND R6 –G3 Sugar Swirl #9 Pretty Prolific – Her last dirt race was a 2nd place finish in the G1 Test. Respect her chances. WON #3 Warbling – Lightly raced talented filly will have to prove her mettle with this group. 2ND #7 Honchis’n Ponchis – Trying to make it 3 in a row and has the right style to do it. 4TH #8 Thunders Dove – Great post for Johnny V to make decisions depending on the pace scenario. PK3 – 5 7 8 9 / 2 5 / 3 7 8 9 = $32 R7 – G3 Mr. Prospector #4 SCR #2 Custom for Carlos – G3 winner could be a serious contender in the sprint division in ’10. KMc runner brings talent and class to the table. 2ND R8 – Gulfstream Park Turf Sprint 75k (Turf 5F) #1 Elusive Warning – Former Group 3 winner has not been seen in nearly 18 months. Should be ready to fire off the bench. #8 Hockeythehayman – Talented runner has yet to taste defeat and keeps on improving. 2ND #6 T.D. Vance – 2 for 2 in ’09 and should benefit from a scorching pace. #5 Little Nick – Hard to imagine him winning, but seems to always get a piece. 3RD Main: 1 4 8 6 R9 – G3 Old Hat #6 Dances with Ashley – (BEST BET) Has a big chance and will probably be ignored a bit on the tote board. #5 Cuff Me – NY bred has been ultra impressive so far and takes another step forward. #11 Carphonic – Must work out a trip from tough post. Should be coming wide on the final turn. #9 Richiegirlgonewild – Longshot has an interesting chance of blowing up the tote board. WON Stakes PK4 – 3 7 8 9 / 1 2 / 1 6 8 / 1 5 6 9 11 = $60 ($.50 play) R10 – Alw48k N1X (Turf 8.5F) #2 Election Day – Has been freshened up and maybe she just didn’t care for the synthetic surfaces. #8 Cruisin’nthebridle – Coming off a 2nd versus similar company and will be closing late. #4 Blushing Dixie – Barn does well off the bench and she’ll be forwardly placed. #7 Loxy Lady – Back to back wins against lesser, but should not be totally ignored. Main: 4 8 2 5 PK4 – 1 2 8 9 / 1 8 / 1 2 5 6 9 11 / 2 4 8 = $72 ($.50 play) Good Racing Luck
