I bit off a chunk of the 4, Gulch Fever, here at 18-1. I don't think he rates that far behind any of these.

Not one reason in the world for Jara to send her out like that and battle with other speed. She clearly had enough speed to sit off other horses and pounce on them turning for home. Did he honestly think he could go :21 and change with her stretching out from 5 furlongs in her debut to 6.5 furlongs....I don't think so. The kid still has some work to do on his riding...IMO.
