He failed to change leads down the stretch and had traffic trouble in the last furlong. He had a sharp work last Tuesday 9/29/09. ML 8-1 would be extremely generous for a runner with a big shot. Didn't pick up a hoof.

#5 Lowther Street - Upset Special 15-1 ML. Top connections seem fit to take on graded company after showing some promise at Saratoga. Gets in as the low weight (111 lbs) and makes important 3rd start off a layoff. Has the look of a runner that's ready for a peak performance.
#4 Jonesboro - 7yr old still going strong and should be in it all the way.
#2 Stonehouse - 17 finishes in the exacta from 33 career starts. Fits well and too big a price to exclude.
#10 Eldaafer - Won G2 Brooklyn at BEL on a Sloppy sealed track.
