Default Map of Racing at its Greatest Extent (so far)?

Does something like that exist -- a map of all of the race tracks, both current and long gone? It would probably be impressive in how many "dots" would be on it.

I know DRF has a map of current tracks, as of a few years ago, probably includes Bay Meadows .
Here's the link to where you can buy that map: http://store.drf.com/acb/stores/1/DR...Map_P17733.cfm
Low res here:

What I was thinking was, it would be interesting to visualize just how big the game was during the golden age for those of us too young to remember.

Something analagous to the map of the Roman Empire at its greatest extent in 117 AD under Emperor Trajan:

That map is used a lot, and it instantly conveys how huge the Roman Empire was.
