I'm playing tonight...I'll actually be at Mohegan Sun playing the card, not interacting with my online gambling amigos. In a way, I'm sad about that.

As for the card. Wow. I'd say tough. Race 2 is impossible if you ask me.
I'm playing both quads tonight. Good luck to everyone, as usual.

Great sports night leading into the Wood tonite. Early quad.

1ST CLM 40K TURF
#2 LUPITA'SLUCKYANGEL-I'm hoping this 6 year old works out a perfect ground saving trip. She has hit the board 5/6 times this year with 2 wins. Just missed at the same level about a month ago.
Thinking about taking a stand with her as a single and going deep in another race.

HERE ARE THE OTHER HORSES THAT I WOULD LOOK AT IN THIS RACE.
#3 JUSTICE IS BRIEF Stepping up from 32k where she won last out. Beyers seem to fit and she is 2/3 on the Hollywood Turf course. She will be near the front.
#5 PALOMA'S FLIGHT This closer is in for a tag for the first time since 10/08. Beyers a bit light, but leading jock takes the call for this 4 year old making a drop.

2nd MD 40K 2 YEAR OLDS 5 1/2 FULONGS
#5 SEEUAT STICKNSTEIN Capt obvious horse has been first (DQ'D) and second in two starts. He did burn some money last out and will probably offer no value again today.
#9 ADROIT ONE Ran 3rd a length behind the #5 last out at big odds.
#11 ACTION CALL This gelding shows a strong work coming into his 4 career start. He too just missed last out and should also be fowardly placed.
#7 WARREN'S ANDREW
#8 RUNNING BEAR

I'm thinking that these are the two horses that could pick up the pace if it should melt down. This is the first time anyone in this field is going 5 1/2 furlongs.
Playing against the #13 DAYLIGHT STORM. Looks like another speed horse breaking from the outside. Thinking he will offer very little value and might be floated wide going around the turn.

3RD 32k CLAIMER 1 1/8 MILES TURF
#1 ISPINGO 6 Year old gelding is making a bit of a suspicious drop. Was claimed for 40k two back and is now in for 32k with a 5th place finish in a stake sandwiched in between. Does show a sharp work on 6/5. This front runner might be on the lead in this race that really has none in it plus he's cutting back in distance..
#4 RUMBA ALONG Just missed at 40k last out and is dropping a level. Honest 4 year old doesn't seem to throw in many clunkers. Thinking this gelding with be fowardly placed with the lack of speed in it.
#2 SEMINOLE NATIVE 7 year old is back on the weeds. Worried about him not getting a pace to close into, but he does own some back class. Ran second 2 back in a statebred stakes race and hoping last race was just a clunker where he never got involved after blowing the start. Think the price will be right.

4th 8K 5 1/2 FURLONGS
#2 KENTUCKY OUTING Metz filly is working well and adds the hood. Speed horse will probably end up on the rail and try to take them wire to wire.
#3 JU JU BABY I have always wondered what it would be like to be live to Kaya Stra in the last leg of a pick 4, hopefully tonight I will have that opportunity. Zucker barn having a good meet and this closer should get a live pace to close into.
#6 STARTIN FRESH 5 year old comin off the bench for the DeLima barn, who also is having a good meet. She's dropping in for the lowest level that she's been at and will probably be near the front too.

#4 REMEMBER SEATTLE On the fence with this Sadler runner. Making the 2nd start off the bench. Burned alot of money as the favorite in her return. But she is another closer that should have a decent pace to shoot at. I would probably replace the #6 with her.

Right now it's looking like
2
5,7,8,9,11
1,2,4
2,3,6
$45
Good Luck.

Wow. That second race is tough - trying to find the love for the 3 Pierre Bear, Brad Free and Rick Wroble's top selection - would think if you liked him, you'd have to love the 2 Taste of Success at 6-1. I love me mah Swiss Yodelers first out, add Mike Harrington's 23% first starts, and the 4 Towser starts to make a lot of sense at 12-1. The 12 Bettinonthetruth is the best bred of the bunch; Yes It's True/Two Punch should be a precocious sprinter, 12 post may be a little to overcome at first asking but ought to fetch a square price north of the 20-1 m/l.

I'm going to play those 4 firsters, and use the 5, 8 of the experience runners... Playing against the 13 Daylight Storm, for the reasons that Matt mentioned, dueled gamely and withered last out and now needs to overcome the far outside, and the 9 Adriot One who ran out of gas in the stretch going 4 1/2 last and shows one dismal work since...

2,3//2,3,4,5,8,12//1,2,4//2,3

72.00

Circumstances change and I find myself here at home in the end....not too upset about it either. Like I said earlier, I think this early P4 is impossible because of race 2. I usually don't go this heavy WITH a single, but I think this one could pay well if we catch a price with the babies and something moderate in the last leg.

R1: 2-3-5
R2: 2-3-4-5-9-11-12-13
R3: 1
R4: 2-3-5-7

$96

This early is a skullbuster, split with pmac:

1- 2,3
2- 2,3,4,5,7,8,11,13
3- 1,2,4
4- 2,3,4

1- 2,3
2- ALL
3- 1,4
4- 2,4

Good Luck!

$1 pick 4
2
4,5,8,9,11 (swapped out the 7 off the original ticket for the 4)
1,2,4
2,3,4 (made the switch from the 6 to the 4)
$45

I watched the race of 7 in the 2nd and I actually think the pp's are wrong. It looked like he ran dead last that day while going extremely wide in the stretch.
And as far as the 4th goes, it looks like there is pleanty of speed in the race so I will opt the #4 a closer instead of the #6 who is another speed horse while coming off the bench.

Missing a trip to the Mohegan Sun racebook is disappointing, though. Best offtrack facility anywhere, IMO.

I didn't understand the stranglehold Corey had on the 2 either.
I'm out.

With the lack of speed in that race it figured whoever took the top would be tough to catch.

He might as well shove golf balls up his pisshole. The guy thinks he's mini-Tiger Woods.
