![]() With Einstein attempting to win 3 GIs in a row on three different surfaces, it brings to mind a question I can never find an answer. I was fortunate to own a mare that won races at all five tracks in Kentucky. Has there ever been another? Miss Wellspring was by no means a superstar, but she won on the grass at Ellis Park, Keeneland, and won a stakes at Kentucky Downs. She won in the slop at Churchill and won both on the dirt and poly at Turfway Park. In fact, she still holds the Turfway track record for 1 1/16 miles.
I have just always wanted to know. Anybody? |

![]() TF,
I don't know, but congratulations on owning the very productive and tenacious Miss Wellspring... I saw her run any number of times, and many here undoubtedly saw her often in person.
