![]() any thoughts..when churchill tunes up the track on oaks/derby day how will the cali horses do when the first time they run on the dirt its hard as a rock
and they also have to run the classic dist..getting easy graded money out west is fine but it should be a reality check on may 2.if i were training a contender id at least do 1 prep on the dirt..the pamplemoose is going to feel like hes running on cement..imo |

You have to see them run on dirt before you can draw any conclusion at all. Each horse is going to be different. |

![]() Just no way to tell without putting them out there and letting them go. I Want Revenge made the successful switch, at least to AQ, but we won't know about the Santa Anita Derby horses until May 2.
