Default Napravnik

Does it seem odd that the 5th leading rider at Aqueduct would fly all the way to New Orleans to ride one race, and a 20-1 shot at that? The 20-1 morning line on Richard's Kid certainly looks legit but the horse has won 3 of his last 4. Still, Napravnik likely could've kept the mount on the morning line favorite for Aqueduct's 5th race. Sure that's only a 41K purse while the NO Cap is 500K but if I was her agent, I think staying in NY might be the more prudent decision. But maybe the agent knows something the rest of us don't know.

Don't overlook the loyalty factor here.

Dickie Small was instrumental in getting Napravnik started.

Good to see she remembers who brought her to the dance......

Agreed. She'll be heading back to MD in the spring and Small will have some good horses for her to ride.
