Default 3/1: Gulfstream (7th-10th)

Suffered the slings and arrows of proverbial outrageous fortune Saturday as a bad budget decision (AQU) and 2 key omissions in the anchor legs of the GP Pick 4 and Magna 5 left an unforgiveably large amount of money on the table. I simply didn't see the Pletcher runaway winner in the Gulfstream nightcap, and there isn't much to add about the Magna except that I still liked the ticket structure that got me the first 4 legs when looking back after the sequence.

Went 2x3x5x5 leading up to using Tough Apples and 2nd choice Powerofvoodoo in the SA 5th (Leg E). Catching the Fountain of Youth and Golden Gate winners with 25 multiples seems well worthwhile, as they were the trickiest parts of the play. It came down to making anchor leg winner Bootleg Annie my 3rd choice instead of the 2nd. If I prefer her to Powerofvoodoo, the $8k+ payoff is there.

Earlier in the afternoon I had short-armed the Aqueduct P4, which AGAIN paid handsomely, so it was a pretty frustrating afternoon all in all. Hope you did OK... Interested in what looks like a potentially lucrative Quad at GP this p.m.

Thanks fellas. Optimum result in the 'cap. Wasn't able to watch the finale as I was out to eat, but was shocked when I called for results and found Pastel Girl went off at 8-1...Still have to break my bro Matt off his chunk and throw a bit of coin at my woman for a stay of execution betting-wise (), but not a bad return for that sequence of winners.

EDIT::: Just seen the Davona Dale results for Steve. Hows that for a cold super???? Tremendous handle on it. Hope you played it.

I just hope that the lost NFL players and their fishing bretheren get located and rescued from the Gulf. My prayers are with them all.
