Outside of this loop. Know Byrd was a former KKK guy but gave that up. Know Obama was pretty much anti Bush but. Thanks in advance.....

hmm, interesting. byrd is a dirty old bastard, but he knows his constitutional law-bush did everything he could to take on more power. again, obama is no dummy-why wouldn't he try to take another page out of bushes book, and attempt the same? hell, it's been going on forever, regardless of which party is in power. jefferson way back in the day bitched about the federal govt being too big, and he used and abused his power to make the LA purchase-because he recognized it was necessary, and in the countrys best interest. not too often you see a fellow party member say things criticial of their leader tho.

Byrd hasnt knocked a sitting president outside of bush since Lincoln. He didnt want to let his free help go back when he was a Junior Senator
